It was broadcast live on the CBS-TV network during that afternoon, and was hosted by Bob Barker. In brief, the winners....Best Game Show: "The Hollywood Squares".Best Game Show Host: Dick Clark, "The $20,000 Pyramid".Best Game Show Director: Jerome Shaw, "The Hollywood Squares".It was Dick Clark's actual first Emmy as a performer, but he was a no-show at the event to accept the award.
