IC: The large cruiser Innocence hung in space like a giant white
cigar. A briown and green world sat below, bruised from years of
warfare. Bajor had been heavily devestated during the Empire's
retreat. Mykal looked down at the world through the veiwport of the
cruiser's senior breifing room. A pair of X-wings zipped by in the
distance on patrol.

Mykal thought back. It had been tough. Darth Trocious had held on
bitterly even after Palpatine and Vader had been killed back home.
His defeat at Earth had cost the Alliance and Rogue Federation many,
many, many lives. He had been there. Had watched as Trocious' Super
Star Destroyer plunged nose first into the Pacific Ocean andsent
great tidal waves surging across the world. The flooding that
followed was unbelievable. It was that battle that Mykal had truly
proven hsi worth as a Jedi Knight.

That battle was 6 months ago. THe Empire still held a lot of
unexplored territory in the Beta Quadrant. But the Alpha Quadrant was
rebuilding. Alliance reps had been going on diplomatic missions
trying to garner support for a galactic government, somewhat like the
New Republic back home.

Mykal turned as the Bajoran ambassador walked in. It was back to work.
