A deep orange energy beam crashed against the Goldeneye's shields,
tilting the ship. "Two Marauders coming up on our 6." Jyyl said.

Mykal pushed the throttles full forward and angled his rear
shields. "We won't last long against those corvettes. How're the
      coordinates coming?"

"Navicomp's working on it. Not good charts of this area."

The Goldeneye rocked again as another blast hit the rear
shields. "Might wanna suggest when we get back that the Navy send
some scouts through this area so we can update our starcharts."

Their meeting with Truark had gone as expected. He denied setting
the Alliance up, but did not refute his new shipping contract with
the Empire. Of course, Mykal didn't believe him and they ended up in
a shouting match. Very un-Jedi-like, Jyyl had called it afterwards
in the lobby. Right before a dozen Ferengi soldiers burst in with
BlasTech E-11 blaster rifles, the famous rifles used by the Imperial
Army. The two rebels had made a running retreat to the spaceport,
where another platoon of Ferengi troopers was attempting to lock
down the Goldeneye and break in. After fighting their way aboard and
taking off, now they were in space, running from the Ferengi space
      forces.

"Those Maruaders are holding steady at 100 klicks out." Jyyl said as
she looked at the sensor screen.

Mykal held his course, practically willing the ship to go faster. A
soft beep sounded from between the two seats. Mykal looked down and
watched as the navicomp's screen scrolled across their projected
path before zooming out to show its entirety. "That's it! Hit it!"

Jyyl pulled the hyperdrive lever back, shooting the ship into the
      whirling blue of hyperspace.
