Subject: [Gabon Discussion] Privatised Gabon Airlines to launch maiden flight 11 April

Libreville, Gabon 03/29 - The newly privatised Gabon Airlines is to
launch its maiden flights on the Libreville-Paris route 11 April, the
management said in a statement here. The three flights per week would
be launched with two Boeing 767s on lease from the American United
Airlines. Ethiopian Airlines is managing the personnel and aircraft
maintenance of the privatised Gabon Airlines, which replaced the
defunct national carrier Air Gabon. The new airline, with five billion
CFA francs capital is owned by Gabonese private investors, banks and
      insurers. http://www.angolapress-angop.ao/noticia-e.asp?ID=520494

I imagine that many of you have also flown on the old Air Gabon. That
Boeing 747 flight from Libreville to Paris wasn't too bad. See:
