      Enough battery talk, let's go to the movies!

      If you plan on seeing a film this long holiday weekend, I encourage you to
      see "Syriana". While a moderately big budget studio film, this is anything
      but your typical Hollywood fare. It's smart, topical and realistic. It's
      also about OIL. This is why you should see it.

      Zan and I ended up talking to the folks seated behind us for several minutes
      about the film and then talked about it all the way home.

      The theater was packed, had to have been sold out, so go early.

      Be forewarned, the film is written by the Academy Award winning scribe of
      "Traffic" and can be difficult to follow. This is part of its allure. There
      are lots of characters involved in multiple subplots and you'll be a bit
      confused along the way. It will make sense at the end, however. That said, I
      am pretty sure I'll see it again to try and understand it better.
