        Greetings,

The Clark Planetarium is seeking a talented 3-D computer
modeler/animator for its production department. This is a full-time
salaried position with Salt Lake County with excellent pay and benefits.
For a complete description go to:

        http://www.personnel.slco.org/cfml/job.cfm

Click on the "Star Show Modeler/Animator" link. To apply, use the
"apply" button on the position description and follow the instructions.
As you'll see, applications do NOT come to the planetarium but directly
to Salt Lake County. The position will stay open until filled.

The Clark (formerly Hansen) Planetarium has a Digistar 3 full-dome video
projection system under a 55-foot dome, installed in 2003. Annual
attendance is around 150,000. It has a talented team of six (three
modeler/animators, an audio-video producer and two part-time production
assistants). Original programming includes full-dome 3-D animation
shows like "The Secret of the Cardboard Rocket," "Destination Saturn,"
"Night Vision" and a variety of music entertainment material. These
shows have been distributed to six states and five other countries.
        See:

        http://www.clarkplanetarium.org/distribution/

Most needed in this position is extensive experience in 3-D modeling,
rendering and animation. Digistar programming is a distant second. If
you have specific questions about the job or the facility, feel free to
        contact me directly.

        Mike.
