GLPA 2004 Conference Updates
- Preparations for 40th Annual Great Lakes Planetarium Association Conference on October 20th-23rd continues here in Detroit.
Here are some updates.
In addition to Sky-Skan's SkyVision demonstration and fulldome video festival, Spitz, Inc. will be demonstrating their Electric Sky 2 and SciDome fulldome video systems. Zeiss and Loch Ness Productions will also be presenting vendor demos.
Spitz Lecturer April Whitt will host a workshop on NASA's Mercury Messenger mission. The University of Chicago's Kavli Institute of Cosmological Physics will have a follow-up to its September three-day course in Extreme Astronomy.
Please note that the early registration deadline of September 21st is coming up. After that date, there is a $25 late registration fee. Late registration deadline is October 8th. Registration forms and the latest conference schedule can be found at the GLPA 2004 Conference website:
