      Hi Everyone,

Here is an announcement about one of our new fulldome shows:

For the first time people around the world will be able to experience the beauty, majesty and thrill of the Northern Lights as experienced by those who live around the Arctic Circle.

Seven months of winter sky watching, hundreds of thousands of photographs and hundreds of hours under the spell of the Aurora, have been condensed into the world's first fulldome three hundred and sixty degree, high resolution movie of the Northern Lights.

Produced by Evans & Sutherland, the makers of the revolutionary Digistar series of projection systems, and Goto Inc., Experience the Aurora brings to the audience of domed theatres, for the first time, what it is actually like to experience these phenomenal displays, without the inconvenience of travel and cold.

From Alaska, Svalbard in Norway (about 500 miles from the North Pole), Kiruna in Sweden and Tromso in Norway, a team from Evans and Sutherland photographed every major auroral display last winter.

Director Terence Murtagh, said, "Thanks to the latest camera technology we have been able to capture for the first time the drama, color and movement of the whole Aurora as it is seen right across the sky and not just a tiny part of it captured within a rectangular frame. The combination of the increase in Solar activity since last year and the advent of new portable, sensitive high resolution cameras has enabled us to bring together some of the most beautiful displays of the Aurora ever captured. Now people all around the world, not merely in the Auroral zones will have their first opportunity to see and enjoy these amazing natural concerts of light and color."

Now everyone can discover firsthand what it's like to Experience the Aurora in the comfort of their local planetarium or digital theater.

Appropriately the world premiere of Experience the Aurora took place in June at the Northern Lights Planetarium, in Tromso, Norway.

For comments about the production, contact Terence Murtagh at +44 751 5551 364.
