      Hi Eric.

      You can try the stereo domemaster lens shader for mental ray.

      Cebas wanted a version too, but for commercial use. Since this is open source it didn;t happen. We just need to find someone who can adapt it to finalRender.
      But if you are not married for finalRender, it's a ready to use solution with mental ray.

      Anaglyph images can be created in post from the L and R point of view renders. Max comes with Composite, but any other post application will do.
