      Hi!

I live in a subtropical area with a large pine tree in my backyard.
Although a rather mundane question (compared to the huge issues being
discussed) can anyone recommend edible plants to grow under the tree?
Nothing I've tried so far seems to work - the soil is hard clay and dry.
      Maybe nothing grows under pines?!

      Howie
