--- The actual study is not quite like it's characterized here.

The study is for children from 2 months to 12 months, and will be
conducted for a 24 month period starting summer 2005, and only with
those who live in this area that has year-round pesticide use as a
      matter of course.

The money is real, and the families are able to keep the video cameras
after the study ends in two years: however, this is only for children
who already live in a pesticide-sprayed area, where their families
already live. There is also tight recording of household chemical
usage, along with logs of pesticide use in the area.

However, the "Evil Scientist" spin is not correct.

Please Snope such things before spreading them. A big clue on when to
snope: anytime anyone tells you to "pass this on", is a good reason to
check the validity of said information, first.
