Re: [fukuoka_farming] Re: no weeds policy
>>I personally don't feel that Fukuoka's principles are "cardinal rules" that one must follow with a religious sentiment as some people follow The Bible.- Me neither Shivani ! And I think Fukuoka itself would be bothered if he knows somebody is following the word and not his own "experience of the experiment" of a "deep" observation of Nature!
- Nature is the Bible who is instructing us... but we need to deep in her slow rythm...That need an incredible patience for me
- with weed, I do as Gloria do : cuting them (not so shortly as her) when it seem to disturb the veg I 'privilege'. And as her, flowers different vegs and fuit are one with the other on the bed whith no plan at all ! Need to look well to find the thing you want to pick up... or know well the bed.
For me it's easy because tiny. But I've got surprises: today I discovered peppers plants which were already 1 foot tall :-)
I recognize that I didn't experiment yet as well described by Gloria the benefit of all the weed. Belief still guide me before experience come... And other "sentiment" (may be not on the right place)for a plant -whatever it is- are stoping me to get it out
- Gloria I get the point of the paper book for discribing the trip ;-) of the weeds or other plants...
Best wish to all of you
