Group Description

A gathering place for the members of Free State Fly Fishers, with membership drawn mostly from Annapolis, Bowie, Davidsonville, Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties, Maryland. The Free State Fly Fishers was formed on November 13, 1978 as a non-profit organization with a mission of conservation and to lead activities that enhance and support the fly fishing experience for all anglers who fish with the artificial fly.

As an added benefit of membership in the Free State Fly Fishers (FSFF), this listserver is set up to help members stay in touch with each other. It is also a means of distributing meeting information to members.

Members can review messages submitted to the listserver by going to the following site:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fs-ff/messages/

In order to post messages to the group and to receive posted messages automatically via email, you'll need to join the group by sending an email to

fs-ff-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

It doesn't matter what you say in your message, although some mail utilities require at least one character in the message. But remember, for now, this is limited to club members.

What kind of things should this be used for?
• Fishing/Stream reports
• Announcement of fishing related events
• Automatic email reminders of club events
• Environmental news
• Big sales on fishing gear
• Things that you believe would be of interest to other club members

Other members will be able to find your email address, but non-members (especially spammers) will not be able to access the address list.
