Reward in slaughtered deer incident increased -- Pa.

* The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever
illegally killed four deer on Lands at Hillside Farms property in Kingston
Township has been increased to $3,500.
"We just received a letter from an individual, who wishes to remain anonymous at
this time, pledging $1,000 to the existing $2,500 reward monies already being
offered by the Humane Society of the United States and the Humane Society
Wildlife Land Trust," Pennsylvania Game Commission Northeast Region Director
Stephen Schweitzer said.
Early Dec. 5, someone drove an SUV into a cow pasture between Sutton and Church
roads, chased down and shot four deer.
