An Ohio couple says its pet deer is one of the family and knows how to do several things like turn lights on and off and get ice from the fridge dispenser.
Dillie, the four-year-old deer, was abandoned by its mother and rescued by veterinarian Dr. Melanie Butera.
Butera says Dillie is a quick learner and says she and her husband found Dillie sharing their bed with their dog Lady one day. "It was quite a cute get-together," she says.
Butera says the deer is far too domesticated to return to the wild and wears a GPS collar.
She says Dillie has the run of the house. She says Dillie's favorite treat is pasta followed by ice cream and coffee, topped off with frozen ice shavings.
"We just love her to bits," Dr. Butera says. Copyright WENN.com. Metro contributed to this report.
