I would suggest that you add a few additional Tiger Barbs to your
tank. I had a similar situation come up a couple of weeks ago in my
own community tank. I originally bought 4 Tiger Barbs - and what
happened was the dominant one started chasing the other 3 all over
the place until they were in constant hiding. Obviously this kind of
stress wasn't healthy for the Barbs, so I ended up adding another 4
to the group. And while the dominant Barb is still aggressive, none
of the other barbs are hiding, and they now exhibit normal schooling
I guess it's more difficult for aggresive barbs to target individual
fish in a larger school.
