If you want to know how to help the Free State Project, we have lots of suggestions!

-- First, let everyone in your circle of contacts know about the FSP. An email including your enthusiasm for the project, a short description, and a link to our web site (http://www.freestateproject.org) would be great!

-- Put a link to the FSP in your email sig. Lots of people hear about us through word-of-mouth this way!

-- We have a "How to Help" page on our website -- check it out at
      http://www.freestateproject.com/help.htm

-- We have a list of specific, ongoing tasks to be accomplished:

      * Local speakers' bureau: contact Jason at jason.sorens@... if you want to be trained to represent the FSP in your local area. Note your public
relations or public speaking experience in your email

      * Write an essay for the website; send your essays to Jason at
      jason.sorens@...

      * Write a state research report: South Dakota and Wyoming are top
priorities, more research on Vermont, Maine, Delaware, and North Dakota is also particularly welcomed; see
      http://www.freestateproject.org/statereports.htm for examples and then
      contact Jason at jason.sorens@...

      * Start or join a local group: see http://forum.freestateproject.org -
      Local Groups forum

      * Help out in link exchange project: see the database in the Database
section of the Yahoo group to see which sites still need to be contacted,
      http://groups.yahoo.com/group/freestateproject/database?method=reportRows&tbl=13

      * Graphic designer - we need people willing to design ads, bumper
stickers, and other things, contact Elizabeth at emckinstry@...

      * Contact your state's Libertarian or Constitution Party and ask them to invite someone from the Free State Project to speak

      * Volunteer to keep a list of media outlets in your state and send out occasional press release; email Doug Hillman at graham6@... if you want to help out with this very important endeavor
