I know that as we get closer to the election the next few weekends will be busy ones for political activists, or friends and relatives of political activists. But, if you are apolitical, or looking for a break, or just plain hungry, please join us for the First Annual FSP Octoberfest Chowda Cookoff.
This will be a friendly competition and celebration of this native New England dish. The tasters need only to bring their appetites. Anyone wanting to join the competition is welcome to bring a crock of their favorite family recipe.
Drinks and non-chowder food stuffs will be provided as well.
The cookoff will take place:
Saturday October 18
At the home of Honey & Todd Puterbaugh:
68 Beauty Hill Rd.
Nothing tastes better on a crisp New Hampshire fall afternoon than delicious bowl of chowder. So come and join us for a "wicked" good time, some "chowda", and FSP communion and brotherhood.
This a family-friendly event, so bring the kids. We have several acres for running around and playing.
This event is part of a series weekend events that are the Free State Project Octoberfest [Porctoberfest?] that is being organized by Max Abramson. To learn more and see the schedule of other relatedevents, search "Octoberfest, Free State Project" on Facebook for the event. This Chowda Cookoff is also cross-posted at the Seacoast area Liberty meetup group: http://libertyforum.meetup.com/5/.
If you think that you will make it, please RSVP to this email or on the meetup so we know how much food to make.
