at college. I took a correspondence course, ASET equivalent. Then I
went to work fixing TV sets. I found out the TV repair industry was
shot thru with dishonest practices, then worked my way into industrial
electronics. My first job there was maintenance of phototypesetting
machines, very interesting. I built from scratch a computer interface,
to eliminate paper tape. That was in 1978. I have been doing
engineering and technician work ever since, while keeping up active
electronics hobby interests. My latest job is designing and building
laser control systems.

plated-thru boards 2.5" x 3.8" for $59. That price can't be beat,
especially if you pay yourself for the labor you go thru to make your
own boards. They also offer 4-layer board services, which I use
extensively at work (the day job, so I don't end up asking other free-
energy researchers for handouts).
