Re: Sunday Fencing 5/15/11
- Well the weather didn't slow us down. In fact having the canopies up with the smoke from the BBQ made it almost like an event atmosphere. We had a great time today. finishing bucklers, worked on some feast gear chests, had a good conversation on the dos and don't of developing a historially correct persona and I am happy to report no one got hurt fencing. Who said fencers do not come out in the rain.

I encourage new and old to come out as many are actually new on this topic and can learn from anyone. We are working towards re-enactor level personas so this may be on going workshop for the spring and summer. We are also talking to a very good living history society group and they want to help us in this area.

Also if you wish you can bring something to put on the BBQ as we will always have the fire on. But if you wish to bring grease soaked burgers from the local fast food that is ok too.
