Group Description

On March 5, 2012, Fort Collins became the first community in Colorado to require corrugated cardboard be recycled or reused, but not thrown in the landfill.

By requiring citizens and businesses to reuse or recycle corrugated cardboard containers and packaging materials, Fort Collins is anticipated to divert approximately 12,000 tons of bulky cardboard from cluttering our landfill.

Our goal is to make it easier for current and new residents/businesses to exchange corrugated cardboard for reuse.
