Like the bike paths are real transportation routes! I saw it on KNBC.

Child faces Greek court for falling off bike
      30/08/2003 - 2:47:39 pm
Falling off a bicycle is not only dangerous for your health; in
Greece it could also land you in court.
An 11-year-old boy on the eastern Aegean Sea island of Chios has been
ordered to stand trial on October 13 for allegedly violating eight
articles of the penal code and one traffic violation for falling off
his bicycle during an annual race, it was reported today.
The boy - identified only by his first name as Manolis - was taking
part in last year's Chios bicycle race when he suddenly fell of his
      bike.
He was not injured in the accident, nor did he cause any injuries to
other riders taking part in the race, the reports said.
The island's prosecutor said the boy fell because he was "not driving
carefully and with constant rapt attention" and ordered him to appear
in juvenile court, the reports said.
It was unclear what penalties he may face if convicted.

It looks like at least some of the restriping of the
streets of Pasadena is underway. Part of my commute
route, New York Avenue from Sierra Madre to Allen
received new stipes for the bike lane last month.
Last week, the striping continued down Madre Street to
Foothill Boulevard, and signs were put up to advising
drivers to "Share the Road". I hope drivers see them.
