I had just started my own attempt at translating this story when you
posted it. I have posted my version, your version, the original
Danish, and English and German translations on the "Files" section of
this group. I've added a list of my Folkspraak words at the end. It
would be good if people can look through it and suggest changes.

        Here is my version:

So reisd hie rund de hele Werld for tu
finden so en, men over all kond hie wat hie vild nit finden.
So komd hie
ruck na Hus ond var so traurik, for hie vild so, en rektik Prinses tu
        haven.

En Avend var der fruktenik Veder. Det liktenend en donderd, de Regen
stromd ond var heel forskrekerlik. Dan klopd det aup de Stadsport,
ond de alt Koning gad dar for den to openen.

Men hoe sied

Hier musted nu de Prinses ligen all Nakt. Bei de Morgen var shie
        fragde hur shie havd slapde.

"O forskrekerlik slekt" sagd de Prinses, "Ik hav fast de hele Nakt
min Ogen nit slotede. God vet vat var in de Bed, men ik ligd aup soms
hard, so ik ar brun ond blu over min hele Korp! Det ar rektik
        forskrekerlik!

So feinfuhlik kond nieman aren uten en rektik Prinses.

Nice idea, but... "princessandpea.rtf" has a lot of mark-up that
is definatly not HTML, so it is quite unreadable.

In "Andersen1", in my text, I once wrote "veeste" instead of
          "weeste". Could this be corrected?
