After Vista install, nothing but blank window on load

      the box. When I go to http://localhost/weborb30 I get nothing but a
      blank screen. I get nothing but

            Doesn t appear to be. The ISAPI-dll in Handler Mappings is disabled. There only looks to be standard ISAPI handler in Handler Mappings (.asp, .axd, .rem,

                Ok, I figured it out and it's something you'll definitely want to add
                to your documentation and blog about Vista.

                When IIS7 is installed on Vista, for some reason static file delivery
                is not enabled, so html and other static content won't be delivered to
                the browser.

                To enable it, go to Start -> Control Panel -> Programs and Features ->
                Turn Windows Features on and off. From there, choose Internet
                Information Services -> World Wide Web Services -> Common HTTP Features
                and check Static Content.

                And there you have it.. loads fine!
