        Or, are you asking whether it is possible to have comments stored with the metadata source?

          excludes ISQL and WISQL) modify the field RDB$DESCRIPTION
          for the object you want to describe.

                The free IB_WISQL tool from the downloads page at www.ibobjects.com provides a data display from the Browser table. Set the Browser up to Show System Tables.
