All about EVE 1950
I just couldnt talk about it
At the same message of the 3 movies I posted earlier ,
This movie plays on a very different level,
Wonderful movie about the back stages of the theater ,
Personal and professional lives of the celebrities ,
Fading talents , rising talents, the schemes ,
The manipulations , and all in one wonderful package.
Brilliant screenplay, sophisticated dialogues , great directing,
And magnificent performers ,
Its full of stars , and they ALL , with no exceptions,
Were great , especially Bette Davis ,
This one is definitely her best work,
I havent seen all her movies , but I doubt that
Any acting talent can top that , even Davis her self,
I was fascinated by the moves of Cameras ,
The scenes almost always are long,
But not boring at all,
Whether because the Cameras and their moves ,
, the cuttings between scenes, short, medium
long , or simply because of the performances ,
like this scene in the car between Davis and Celeste Holm
, which is relatively a long scene , and in the car ,
there is no camera moving , and scene cuttings ,
its pure acting, and yet , the scene was great ,
I couldnt take my eyes of Daviss face when she was talking,
That what I call great cinema ,
If you havent seen it , see it , NOW.
