LanDesk Problem

      My wife and I have just been called as the Director and Assistant director of the Maroondah Melbourne Australia Stake FHC.(Yesterday)
      We visited the Centre after church yesterday and found that all the centre computers are now networked. Prior to an amalgamation of 2 FHC'S they were all stand alone wireless computers.
      It seems that Landesk has been trying to run the FHC Autoated Inventory Report without success.
      The request from Support says that we should update to the latest version of LanDesk or run LanDesk_Checke tool to rectify the problem.
      Having no experience with networked computers am I able to load these programs from the Administrator log in? Do I have to do this with each Computer? I hope that this makes sense. We are pretty new at this so would appreciate any help we can get.

        Your stake clerk needs to update your calling in MLS. The CDOL is still
        showing David Yule Thomson as the director.

        Contact your Stake Technology Specialist. He should have the info and be able to take care of all that.

            Dana, Deep freeze has not been installed, I will talk to the Computer Specialist regarding this.
            Yes the URL for LanDesk is known.
            Yes we can call support from Oz, but it is a real pain to get anything from them. Spent 3/4 hour this AM trying to get a simple answer to a simple question.
            Updates are in the process of being organised.

                Actually, I think that's updated from the Family History Department.  You're looking at a "FHC Unit" not the stake unit.
                 
                And Church Headquarters does need to be notified.  So I'd make sure that's done.
