RE: [fhctech] Computer Tune-up
I’ve had problems recently with video and printer drivers from Microsoft Update. Some printer drivers (such as the Phaser 3250) refuse to install. Some ATI Radeon video drivers from Microsoft cause the system to puke, and must be rolled back. I have to go to the ATI web site to get good video drivers.
Otherwise, drivers from Microsoft Update are usually OK to use.

No, but if you manually run the Microsoft update, and look in the "Hardware" section, you may find that it's figured that out for you.
Generally downloading drivers isn't that bad.
- Go to the PC manufacturer's website
- Go to "Support" and look for your model. If this is a Dell, give it the "Service Tag" and it will find it for you.
- Look for video drivers. If there's more than one, look for one that says "integrated". If there's still more than one, then it gets tricky.
