node file that handles the login and password communication. The setup disk

Has any one lost all their files on Inventory Manager and had to
start from scratch? The distribution center has a database but the
person I was talking to, of course, didn't know how to get it out
into a file. Has anyone done this?

One of the reasons we have still been using 'File Keeper' was
because of the way the reports came out. Inv Mgr didn't 'match' it.
Has anyone expanded the reporting capability of Inv Mgr? Or is there
              another choice?

I can assure all of you that if you call the extension listed below Ext 24893 that Richard Simonsen from the Santa Maria California Stake posted YOU WILL NOT GET HELP ON THE PRODUCT MENTIONED. Even if I knew something about Inventory Manager (which I don't) I would send you to the main support number at 866-4096-1830 to follow the correct procedure.

Please be careful as to the numbers you post. This is a personal extension and it is not appropriate to post these kinds of things. We have plenty of official numbers for you to call so just ask if you need them.

You can export your data from your current program to an excel format
and then import it into Inventory Manager. There are other formats
that you can import and export to. Excel just happens to be at the
top of my head. It's under the administrative tab in the program.
As far as loss of data, I've never had that problem. Follow the
instructions that come with the cd. Make regular back ups and you
                  should be fine.
