I know you are doing the right thing. I have heard from so many others that
the animal will let you know and it sounds like Orange has let you know. She
only just started suffering and you are loving enough to recognize this and
to let her go. She will be going to a very good place but will also be a part
of you always. I will be online for a bit longer. If you need to talk please
feel free to call me...561 338 0801. I will be up for quite a bit longer
before I leave tomorrow for my trip. I never give out my number but my heart
is with you and I can only imagine how difficult this is. Give orange a kiss
for me and know how loving and kind you are being to her. My thoughts will
be with you. If I don't hear from you I will contact you when I return.
      Sincerely, Heather

          Hi again Heather/Rose,
No prank calls from me, but I noticed that you were in the 561 area
code. Don't know where you are in 561, I'm in the N Broward area, in
Pompano Beach, so just wanted to say hello again, and that if you want
to leave my number with the folks watching Tyson this weekend, please
do. Its 954-968-5171. I'm no expert, but have access to emergency
specialists, know how how to to get to this mailing list and plenty of
          general kitty info!

          Have fun,
Pam (and Maggie the CRF/HF kitty, 5 other kitties and

Pam! Hello neighbor!! Thank you so much for your offer I SO appreciate it. I
truly do trust my vet. He dealt with my mom and her sick dog for years. I
think Tyson will be in good hands and he has been consulting a cardiologist.
I am leaving my parents number for emergency but have my cell phone and he
will contact me with any problems. I spoke to him tonight to review
somethings before I drop the animals off tomrrow. I am driving myself crazy
because sometimes I think Tyson is breathing heavier...especially when he is
purring and being petted but other times it seems normal. I feel rest assured
that he will be at the vets tomorrow who will check his breathing better.
Tomorrow will be his first day of lasix which I am nervous about but they
said they might try to drain any fluid out if it seems that he has fluid.
This is a better altenative than the lasix for his kidney. I just hope after
another blood test his kidney numbers will improve. I really could use some
good news after a week of bad...but it hasn't been all bad since Tyson
continues to seem to be acting pretty normal. Thanks again for your
number.... I might want to pick your brain and swap stories upon my return.
SO call me or can I call you? Right now my heart is going out to poor sweet
Orange. But I know she is going to a really nice place. I picture animal
heaven to be a big grassy hilly area (like sound of music) where all the
animals can run free and frollic with each other. They all get along real
well to. Its sunny and there is lots of grass and flowers and its a beautiful
place. This is what I llike to think of when I think of my loved animals
passing. I am so happy to have found this group and I look forward to
speaking with you. PS I am in Boca so we are really close to each other! My
            vet is in Coral Springs.

Thank you so much for sharing Cyndy, Heather, Linda & the boys,
Sally, and Jeanne,Lo, Bono & angels Dom & Snickers.

At 6pm Orange has begun shallow rapid breathing and is occasionally
crying out now. I have been w/ her most all day to observe whether
she is having pain. She is now. I have been helping her to the
water bowl and holding her paw most of the day. She is no longer
interested in eating - even her favorite, roasted chicken. One of
the paralyzed legs has stiffened and she is soooo cold now -
everywhere, not just the back legs. We had a talk and she gave me a
look and I know what she was saying. I cannot let my lovely little
friend suffer, not after all the joy she has given me and how kind
and loving. She has been such a good kitty..not once has she ever
              misbehaved.

I just spoke w/ my vet. I have decided to let Miss. Orange go
tonight. The house call vet will be calling me back momentarily with
an ETA. This is the first time I have had to do this.
Thanks for the support and help.
              Maria

Orange has gone to be with the Lord and in His loving arms she is
purrfect and purrfectly happy. I can visualize Him holding her and
                it's beautiful.

I guess I can sleep in for the first time in years. Funny though, I
don't want to...it almost seems wrong.

poem and it is so very nice. There is also a chat room there for

from your friends on this board will be waiting to welcome Orange.
I too have lit a candle for Orange.
I know this is very, very hard for you and I don't know if you have
other kitties or not. Thank heavens for me that I still had Bono and
Lou. I think Dom had a talk with Lou before he passed as Lou was
always an independent cat that wanted to be left alone. Since Doms
passing he has become my constant companion. This is so odd because
Lou was here for 2 years before Dom and he was never "my cat". I
think Dom told him that I would be needing him!
My thoughts will be with you and we are all here for you.

Jeanne, Lou, Bono, angels Dom & Snickers
