- 20-year-old cat with good kidney and liver Levels his blood pressure is perfectly fine He did have an MRI done in 2010 showing swelling of the meninges in the brain he was put on 5 mg of prednisone once a day he was also on Azidell Once a day ID fluids when needed he was doing fine redid his blood work last Tuesday kidney levels were only at 30 Percent So they put him on benazepirl mg Once a day to help him with his kidney levels within 40 minutes of me giving him the pill he started vomiting throwing up diarrhea respiratory distress a Approximately 8 hours later His blood pressure was 160 start getting fluids in the Lungs an Heart had to put him down He was suffering he is a bangle snowshoe Did he have a bad reaction to the pill Which sped up the process and killed him has this drug that been reported of killing any other cats benazepirl In the Bengal breed Thank you for your help
