Surgery cancellation. He's eating fairly well. Just the on \ off CRF pickiness. But, he's been so lethargic. Not social at all. Sleeping ALL the time. Not on his perch at all. We stopped the Clindamyacin 3 days ago and last night he still had diarreah, so that MUST be still in his system. That was 10 days worth. Then, the reg vets cardiologist said for me just to have Oreo STOP taking the Enalpril last Saturday cold turkey. I asked about the side effects of not weening him off and he said he wasn't on enouugh of a dose (2.5mg) to make a difference. Could that be a reason for him not bouncing back? And then, NOW while he's still not feeling himself, I'm going to RE STRESS him out again on Wed with a long drive to the specialist cardiologist and I'm SURE a long day, again, for the echo. He can't take these vet visits and I worry the stress on his heart is going to be too much one of these times. Since last weekends visit raised his heart rate to 240. I've been checking it at home and its been around 112. But then again, he's totally relaxed. His recent blood work, and HCT was fine, well, no change from preious one in July. Any advice?
