- Can we do anything to erase our posts from www.
When i google my name, the emails I wrote here come up.
However I share private info which I really do not want publicly available..
How can I prevent this?
- This issue has come up a few times in the past. The owner of the group, Diane, has the group set to "open", so that new members who join are able to read the past posts, and do not have to wait to be moderated and approved. The group being "open" makes it possible for posts to be found on an internet search. I realize that some of us may not like our personal battles with our cats' heart disease being made public, but on the other hand, if it helps someone out there with their own cat, then it's not such a bad thing. We all share what's going on with our cats to each other in the group, and I'm sure there are many more people out there in the same situation who need help, but don't know where to go. They do an internet search and find out posts and then come and join.
At this time, the list owner has no plans to change the setting on the group to private. If that changes, we'll post it and let you all know.
