Bobtail hates pill-popping and with his latest illness bit my daughter and I while we tried to safely administer a pill. Who can we find to compund his pill medication?

That's great! Glad you are starting to get the meds to go down. Let us know how the compounding works. For my one cat we had the med compounded into a liquid (they have tuna, beef, chicken) and she doesn't seem to mind it. For another one of my cats we had it compounded into a treat. He would eat it somedays on his own, and other days I had to plop it into his mouth and then he would chew it up.
Let us know how it goes!

I sent her a long email explaining what everyone here has told me (I also emailed a vet who said the same thing). We've had all sorts of animals over the years and she has a lot of experience giving meds and taking care of animals, but we have'nt dealt with this before. I got the impression she didnt realize what the fluid build up actually does to you inside. And the vet didn't mention congestive heart failure. I've learned more about this in the past few days than most people do in a year! This has been really upsetting for both of us. This is the first time in four days I have'nt cried.
