She was so well until she had that bowel movement that caused her to loose her breath. Since the hospital stay she is a different cat. 2 days now and no improvment on energy. Having to force feed. I am totaly a wreck. I dont know what to do anymore. The oxygen is coming today and the vet says to make her a tent.
Is she dying? She was behind the washing machine this am.
      Sorry I am just babbaling...
Have no support sytem. All the friends ran away. Should I give her another day or two to rally.?

I dont know whats up with Emily, Lori, but maybe shes just really tired from all the treatment...being in the hospital, forced feeding, etc. Maybe when she can get a little strength back she'll feel better...I hope so. What does the vet say about the lasix...if shes having trouble breathing maybe she needs a little more? or an injection from the vet?

Im thinking that you should keep trying to feed her, and other than that try to just stay near her and let her rest. When Max was really bad, and not eating I tried to stay nearby so he could sleep and know he was safe, and I felt he appreciated it. And it might be good for you too. I read a book laying down just a few feet (maybe 3) away from him.

I hope she feels better soon! Judi and Max

          Hi Lori,

I'm sorry to hear that Emily is not feeling well. Keep assist feeding her
as best you can. When Skylar had an appointment with an Internal Medicine
Specialist, that visit wiped him out for weeks. He was depressed and wanted
to hide too, barely ate.. It may take Emily more time to feel better as
she's been thru so much more. As Judi said, stay nearby, so Emily feels
safe and sound and keep up the assist feeding..

          Hugs to you and Emily,
          Candace with Cinnamon and Skylar

I know when cats hide like that they do seem to feel sick and hide. Little April dragged herself under the bed when she threw a clot to get the saddleblock. I had to pull her out and she went back in. Still its always hard to just let go. Maybe see what happens
            Hang in there
