Emily and Saddle thrombosis
- Hi All, I am still hanging in there with Emily. It will be a week since she threw a clot.
It is strange but could it be a possiblity that 2 days before she "threw Clot" the vet came to house to take blood and urine. She did not seem right after that. During the lad braw she really ascreamed loud and I came running and the vet said she did not like the way they moved her leg to get at the Bladder. I wonder why she screamed as she never does.
She still is not putting weight on her leg. I have been giving Natto, Taurine, for almost a week. Shouldn't there be any improvement Yet>????
Her feet are warm and pink, she has feeling and movement. She stretches that leg out. But cries if I touch it.
Has anyone seen improvement sooner or later with this problem and using Natto?
There is no timeline for this kind of thing. Each kitty is different in how they respond to treatments. I think it is good news that the leg is moving and getting blood flow. It could be months before she gets back to "normal." Whatever you are doing seems to be working. We know it is hard but you are doing a great job.
