Last week sunday, Brandy's WBC was 32.3...i started him that night on
potassium supplements and then on a full capsule of Jarrows B Right
Complex beginning Thursday night...when he had his blood checked
yesterday, his WBC was 15.1. Is there a correlations between them or
      was this coincidental.

Talked with the IM vet today...he says that i definitely should NOT
use spironolactone instead of lasix...says they are always used
together, never apart and that using the spiro will cause brandy's
potassium levels to rise too high. He also said it would take about 3
days for me to see in changes in the fluid build up.

Vet also suggested taking brandy off the increased dose of benazepril
as he said 1/2 of a 5mg tab was too high of a dose for him after i
said he was a little lethargic. I thought i'd read somewhere that it
can take cats several days to adjust to meds like this. Is that true?

And last but not least, does anyone know what is the gel base of the
Renakare...i know that it includes potassium gluconate but i was
wondering what was in the gel as the paw swelling/fluid backup started
up about 3 days after he started taking that.

      thanks
      dawn & Brandy
