In honor Nessi having her second echo later this week, I finally got
around to posting her picture. This is one of my favorites. It's pretty
old, she wasn't full grown at the time, and she was wearing her red
collar as part of her "inappropriate elimination" retraining but she
looks so cute. The retraining worked and now that collar is Nessi's
Preliminary test results from a visit to her regular vet are good. Her
ECG is excellent and blood pressure is the best yet. It was a busy day
so I haven't received the blood work results nor the note to the
cardiologist yet. I think Nessi is doing great. Her sleeping
respiration has been 15 (okay I really caught her in a deep sleep) at
times, 18 to no more than 20, usually. She's happy and playful and has
a good appetite.
The biggest problem right now is the distributor has run out of her
food, "it's at the port." Which port is the question. I'm down to 16
cans and with 3 cats that isn't going to last long. Getting ready for a
quick transition to home-made although my vet says that tomorrow "his"
person will be back and she will check with the other vets to try to
As I don't post that much, my deepest condolences to those who have
lost their beloved pets and bravos to those who are doing fine (extra
bravo to Saylor).
