It amazes me when the vet's don't listen to something so simple as, "don't do the BP on his tail." Wouldn't you know better than them what your cat likes and dislikes? Oy! On a happy note, that is great to hear that Skylar's heart is good or possibly better. I really think this makes for a better case of hyperT, for sure. With some cats, it never really is confirmed so this may be Skylar's situation too. Time will tell. As far as the scope and dental, I would probably not do either unless they can give a really good reason, which seems they haven't. Both would require anesthesia which is not good for a heart kitty. But the ultimate choice is yours. I hope the atenolol is the nausea cause and you can put that problem behind you. Keep us updated.
