      Not great news, folks.

He's got HCM & is showing signs of RCM. A I-II/VI murmur showed up,
along with an occasional abnormal beat. Additionally, since he
hasn't been eating enough, his liver showed up bright white on the
ulstrasound, showing signs of lipidosis. We're now forcing him to
eat the required amount of food via food syringes.
Specialist took him off of the antibiotics for the sneezes because it
can be an appetite suppressant. She also added Atenolol to his
      regimen.

I'm so upset about the food/liver (and everything, really...). I had
asked my regular vet *specifically* how much he should be eating &
was told that as long as he's eating "something", that he should be
fine. I'm mad at myself for not knowing that it wasn't enough. Now
we're at a critical point - he eats, or he dies from liver failure.
We're doing everything we can to get this food in him, and thankfully
he's kept it down, though he's certainly not a fan of the feeding
method. Little does he know, the alternatives are much worse :( Tough
      love, I guess.
