His office visit fee is $100.00 before any tests.
The first time I went it cost $570.00
He made me talk to him in the morning and did a quickie exam and that was $100.00
then I left my Qwerty there all day (required by them) for tests and they charged me $20.00 for the "day care."
$100. 00 for the EKG
and $250.00 for the ultrasound.
Then I picked him up and saw the vet again (required to get the results) and he charged $100.00 again to talk to me.
That way they got $200.00 in office visit fees in one day.
It's robbery but he's all there is.
Once the state veterinary college has their small animal hospital built I will be going there instead! That won't be until at least the fall of 2004. But I know they have a color doppler ultrasound!!
PS Wendy, I use Dr. Gary Woods of Cardiology Northwest, his website is here:
I am in Ohio... Are your "Office Visit" charges that much...or is it
the full amount after various tests, etc...That is crazy if it it
just the basic OV charge...YIKES
