RE: [FH] Putney update #2
- Hi Debra,
Fluids should help bring down the kidney values. If Putney is dehydrated he
will feel a lot better after the fluids too. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Subject: [FH] Putney update #2
I went to see him tonight. He looks miserable. That's hard to see. I
think Tigger ever looked miserable - just very tired.
There's good news and bad news. The good news is he's currently out
of heart failure and they don't see fluids in his chest. His fever has
away. And his blood glucose is not too horrible - staying in the low 300's.
The bad news is his kidney values have shot up. His creatinine is up to 6.2
(from 2.3). His BUN was (I think) 112, his hct was 27%. They've got
him on fluids - my vet his hoping part of this is dehydration. But he's not
eating, and, as I said, he looks pretty darned miserable.
So hopefully his kidney values will drop a bit and he'll be able to come
home tomorrow. If they don't drop, I'm going to have to make a decision.
I don't want him to be uncomfortable. But I just want more time with him.
Thanks everyone for all the prayers and good wishes. I REALLY
appreciate them. I'm not doing such a great job about getting back to
people. When some people get upset, they go into hyperdrive. I shut
