      I didn’t use vetmedin long, probably should have started it earlier but
      that's a whole different story. I had seen the info(wasn’t told anything by
      vet) about giving before food so there I started, which was NOT a good move
      because there went what was there of appetite, the Vetmedin can be tough on
      the cat's stomach and I think that is why they don’t go for the same routine
      as dogs. I had done some googling on this, and came to the conclusion that
      in cats it was not the same routine as dogs. I also think the assumption is
      that cats are grazers
