      Thanks Lyn. It's unlikely a fur ball (she's a Devon Rex and sheds almost
      never) and it's been going on since the end of February. I've gotten some
      feedback from others about benazepril causing a dry cough. I think now that
      is the likely culprit. I'll investigate a sore throat, too.

      The only time mine have had a dry cough was with a sore throat, but the vet
      would have seen that I`m sure. Sometimes they do a dry hacking cough when
      they have a furball as well. Other than that, I've no idea, unfortunately.
      You could do a throat swab if its a sore throat.
