      Greetings,

In the latest issue of Perfect Sound Forever online music magazine
<http://www.perfectsoundforever.com>, you'll find (among other things):

      HEATHER EATMAN
Interview: From folkie to swingin' chanteuse
"Eatman experimented with her sound: she performed her old songs and
a few new ones in a torch/lounge setting, accompanied by an acoustic
bassist, and she recast some of those songs with a keyboard-based
rock group. She might also have thrown in a few solo shows. Then, a
little over a year ago, she formed Doll Hospital, a band without her
name in front of it, with mostly permanent members, and with its own
      repertoire of original swing-pop tunes."

      SPIRAL JETTY
      Hoboken's class of the 80's
"Spiral Jetty was at best what singer/guitarist and principal
songwriter Adam Potkay called a "New Jersey band" that thrived in
Hoboken and the college town of New Brunswick. During the course of
an EP and three albums, Potkay, bassist Andy Gesner and drummer Dave
Reynolds were at their best performing a kinetic brand of indie pop
that moved with the speed and anxiousness of a driver braving the
      notorious traffic between those cities."

We're always looking for good writers and/or ideas so let us know if
      you have anything to share.

      See you online,
