Group Description

THIS GROUP IS CURRENTLY INACTIVE. It is a private group forum for professionals involved, or with an academic interest in the issues engaged, in reporting to the family courts in England and Wales. Membership is restricted to Children Panel solicitors, Cafcass staff, practitioners and Board members, independent social workers and accredited academics. Membership is by invitation and the group is moderated.

This 'conference' forum developed from the cafcass smartgroup that began in March 2000, a year before the CAFCASS service was formed, though it has never had a formal connection with it. Its aim has always been to facilitate practice discussion amongst a diverse workforce.

Comments on this forum are the responsibility of the person posting to it and are moderated beforehand. Messages may occasionally be edited or even rejected. Messages posted to this forum do NOT reflect the views of members as a whole. Please bear this in mind when posting messages that include remarks of your own that might tend to give offence to a particular individual, whether or not that person is a member. Yahoo.co.uk is registered with the UK Data Protection Office.
