As part of our effort to create a learning organization we are putting toge=

ther a Developers Toolkit all new hires get on joining. So far this
      consists=

of 3/4 key books and a fairly empty folder, which we hope will develop
      into=

      out best practices over time.

I was also hoping to put together a compendium of magazine articles and pap=

ers that are particularly insightful or useful. I am thinking of seminal
      pap=

ers like 'Test Infected' by Beck and Gamma and "Is Design Dead" by Fowler.
      =

I'd also like to collect articles that deal with particularly difficult
      area=

s of programming, process or design. For instance, I would love a good
      artic=

le on how to program with Exceptions.

I was hoping to get the lists help by getting there input on what articles =

or papers they have found useful. Rather than clog the list with
      suggestions=

people can email me directly. I will share the resulting list with the
      grou=

      p.

Also, if people maintain an online list of their own or know of such lists =

can they point me in the right direction, (I have already gone through the
      X=

      P Magazine section of xprogramming.com).
