      Elizabeth,

I am not sure what "came of age" means. I
primarily grew up in the Eisenhower era of the
50s. John Wayne and Saturdays at the movies was
the big thing. A time of innocence ....

It all ended in the economic recession of 1958
when we moved from ThunderBay to Montreal.

      Dear Eduard,
Were you a "hippy"? By my calculations, you came
of age in the 60's, right? Or were you more of a
"Happy Days" kind of guy? I think the 50's kids
did that with their jeans. My generation let
them drag on the ground until they frayed and the
      cuffs fell off, lol!

      Elizabeth,

Ah yes ... bluejeans. We used to buy them
brand-new ... stiff a boards. And you could turn
the bottoms of the legs up so that you would have
4 or 5 inches of the light blue underside showing.
Just like John Wayne. Those were the days ...
      :-))

      Eduard,
What about blue-jeans? Remember when it took a
      few years to properly
break them in? You could look at your old jeans
      and think back on
all the things you experienced while wearing
      them--where each stain
or rip came from. Now they come pre-worn out and
      you don't have time
to have an experience in them before they fall
      apart in the washing
      machine.
