      check out the drum and bagpipe folk ensemble "Aulji" two samples. drums
      and bagpipe are of course characteristically European men's (instrumental)
      music (bagpipes are not a Scottish monopoly - note similarities, though!).
      the first from the music festival "Baltic Sun 2004" shows a female
      bagpiper, the second (2003 concert in Liepaja) has a younger girl playing
      bagpipes and interaction with traditional regional womens' singing groups
      who were the original basis of Latvian national folk music.
