Re: Melodysoft - Forums - Reply
- Vance, Hi.
I would never dream of communicating with you via this ESP site. But
technology makes us ubiquitous, omnipotent and omniscient I guess. Well,
that's what I meant. Since the forum is rather speicalised, focused on ESP,
an aspect not particularly dominant on WiA, I thought perhaps Marva might
set up an ESP egroup. ESP is not within my interests as a matter of fact.
You might, as an owner and moderator of WiA set up different sectors in the
WiA egroup, namely ESP, Young Learner teaching, Learners with disabilities
and the like. Unless, there are such sectors and I am no aware of, since
whenever I log on I don't have the time to stay long as I am pressed for
time. I hope October wil bring my liberation, as I am submitting the diss.
Well, Vance I was glad to communicate, as I am self-restricted (you might
say self-castigated) in my voluntary cell here at Parga, Greece.
Since most posters to Marva's ESP forum are from WiA, as you said, I post
this message on WiA. At lease to increase my participation rate, which is a
cause of embarrassment to me.
Lots of hugs to all from (not SO hot, as a matter of fact) Parga-Greece...
poor Germany, France and Itatly... I sympathise with you.

any. Wouldn't it be better to set up an e-group like WiA?

example, this forum can serve a purpose that WIA does not. However, as the
posters on this list so far are all WIA members, we might as well stay
focused in the one place. Of course if this forum attracts more diverse
participation, then a new home for that focus would be appropriate. Anyone
can of course set up a YahooGroup and attract members to it. In any event,
no one is in control and each individual acts in his or her best interests
and through focusing energy where others are focusing interesting things can
be made to happen.

- Yes Damian,
I do agree with you in the fact that, as a
co-moderator and co-owner of WIA, I could set up any
subdiscussion, but I found that BBS a good one for
many other reasons. The first one, is that I would
like that other non-members of WIA could participate,
since this is a huge field impossible to cover as an
sub-topic of WIA. I had that possibility on my server
for free, I like it, and I decided to use it. But
thanks again for your ideas. I like them, but I prefer
